ABOUT US
Empowering Our Community with Life-Saving Skills Since 2015
The Sevenoaks CPR Charity is dedicated to creating a heart-safe community in the Sevenoaks District and surrounding areas. Established in 2015 (Registered Charity Number 1160252) by members of the Sevenoaks Community First Responders, our mission is simple: to empower people of all ages with the knowledge and skills to respond confidently and effectively to emergencies.
We believe everyone, starting from age 8, should have access to vital first-aid training. That's why we provide free public training in first aid, CPR, and the use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AEDs).
What We Do:
-
Free Public Training: We offer comprehensive training sessions to groups (ages 8 through adults) on first aid, CPR, and AED use. We have partnered with Grow Safety Training to ensure our training sessions are up to date with current guidelines set by The Resuscitation Council UK
-
Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) Management: We are committed to creating heart-safe environments by overseeing the installation and maintenance of Public Access Defibrillators. We currently look after over 50 PAD sites.
How We Can Help You:
Do you have a group of 10 or more people who would benefit from learning CPR or how to use a Public Access Defibrillator? If you can provide a suitable venue, we would be delighted to organize a training session for you, completely free of charge.
We Rely on Your Generosity:
The Sevenoaks CPR Charity relies entirely on donations to continue our vital work. We raise funds through high street collections, sponsorships from local businesses and groups, and the generosity of individuals like you. Your support helps us provide free training and maintain life-saving equipment throughout our community.
Together, we can make a difference. Join us in creating a heart-safe community for everyone.
